Quail

IMG_0141We have been raising flight conditioned Northern Bobwhite Quail here at the farm since 2010.  We started raising quail, at first,  to just have a few birds on hand to train our dogs.  As time went on we realized that there were not many facilities in the area that would raise flight conditioned birds to sell to the public for training dogs and an occasional set and release hunt.  In 2013 we decided to fill that void and started building up our facility and now our little hobby has really began to grow! We have gone from hatching 100 little quail eggs in the basement of our home to a new 1200 sq. ft. hatchery and brooding facility where we can now hatch and brood 1000’s of eggs during the hatching season! We can sell day old chicks to raise up on your own. We also offer fully mature 12 week old flight conditioned birds for hunting or dog training. In order to purchase bobwhite quail you must have the proper license and permits from your individual state. Missouri requires that you possess either a special “Dog Training Permit” or a licensed “Gamebird Hunting Preserve Permit” to release bobwhite quail. Due to the difficulty of shipping live stock we offer local pick up only.
